Big Boi - Shutterbug

I like this video. Hip hop videos seem to have struggled over the past few years. From the turn of the century, big budget eccentricities of directors like Hype Williams, we ended the 00's with very many poorly shot, low budget, no concept productions. It was occasionally embarrassing and sometimes sad to see. 

So the video above is a real breath of fresh air. It's wonderfully shot and visually inventive. It also contains some of my favourite things: Space boogie, polished concrete floors, talkbox, Jim Henson puppets, tron girls, cameras, swimwear girls, industrial fuseboxes & scalextric. 

To be honest I'm not that fussed about the scalextric but everything else I love. At some point I might try and write a mini essay on Hip Hop videos and their influence on me. I know most of the work on this site involves orchestral/classical music but I can see me posting a lot of rambling nonsense about 90's rappers and noisy guitar music.
